Well I'd put Toyota/Honda before Mercedes/BMW/Volkwagen in terms of reliability.

Volkswagen definitely at or near the bottom.

I would say,the days of unreliable cars is over,even the cheaper brands are reliable enough,engine wise.

I have never owned a Renault,i buy German and only stick to German with just one exception.
I had a Range Rover a couple of years ago,it was ok.

I dont know,i get my cars cheap from friends who have dealerships in Germany(Germany is cheaper then the Netherlands)
If i need a new car,i bring my old car,pay some money and get the ''new''( a year or two old) one.
But im sure its cheaper here for a 2012 model.

Chacha it's nuclear, isme diesel ya pAtrol nahi hota . Isme nuclear hi hota hai, usi se gaddi chalti hai, suna hai Pakistan ke pass bahut hai.

my options: toyota axio, toyota fielder, toyota rush, nissan juke, mazda axela (not newer than 2012 series), mitsubishi lancer (2015-2016) etc

if you want old people to feel comfortable buy one which they can get in or out easily(tall enough)...and has plenty of space..
