Dr. Bhimrao Ramaji Ambedkar, the chief architect of Indian constitution is one of the most revered figure, whose legacy is being hijacked by all the political parties to consolidate Dalit votes.

He was the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly.

The constitution itself is an adaptation of the earlier British India constitution modified to include aspects of Free India. THAT is why our IPC is still from the british days.

Alladi Krishnaswamy Iyer (Ex- Advocate General, Madras State)
