I am glad that India is slowly but surely comming of age.

I agree with the no choice bit. The way the gender ratio is being skewed in India, its only a matter of time before some guys will have no choice but to be gay. Wonder what parents (being conservative nutcases anyway) who indulge in sex selections to have a male baby would think if they knew that their son might grow up in a world where his best chance is to be with another guy. Automatically will adjust the male-female ratio.

Saw this program on NDTV and frankly I (coming from a bit traditional background) was surprised that there exists parents in India who support their wards even in such times.

@topic: Only narrow minded and ultra-religious (be it Hindu, Muslim or Christian) lots actually despise gays.. Even if one goes by Sid426 and other like minded poster's logic, God would have made them gay (or keep the so called chemical locha inside their mind), if he (God) hadn't meant them to be gay. My own opinion: It's a very personal choice and other's should not try to enforce their so called straight view down their throat if they are indulging in consensual relationships.
