The fact of the matter is; India has been free for 66 years. In that time, China, Japan and South Korea have marched forward, whereas we're still grappling with poverty. India is not even the best place to live in South Asia, Sri Lanka and Bhutan has that honour.

If that isn't abject failure of governance then I don't know what is.
