NDA, if voted to power, will assist Pak to fight terror: Rajnath
DHARAMSALA: Stating that a "peaceful neighbour" is always important to the prosperity of a country, BJP on Saturday said the NDA, if voted to power,
will assist Pakistan in eliminating terrorists in that country.
"If Pakistan agrees India (NDA govt) will send its army in that country to smash terrorists hideouts from where attacks are being planned in our country," BJP president Rajnath Singh said.
A peaceful neighbour is always important and this would help both India and Pakistan to prosper, Singh said.
Addressing an election rally at Rait in Shahpur assembly constituency of the Kangra district, he said the Indian army is very much capable of accomplishing the task.
"Indian army will return only after accomplishing the task (eliminating terrorists centres)," he added.
Seeking votes for BJP candidate from Kangra seat Rajan Sushant, Singh said the NDA government will also execute Afzal Guru, the parliament attack mastermind, immediately.
Accusing the Congress-led UPA of not implementing the Supreme Court verdict in this regard, he said the apex court order would be fulfilled immediately by the NDA government.
Singh alleged that the UPA government failed to prevent price rise and said the NDA government would bring in strong law to control food scarcity.
