One can hardly be surprised at this kind of news. I mean just look at the ongoing dharnas. If you have SMQ standing on side of IK and Sheikh Rasheed on the other than how on earth can you believe that a new Pakistan is coming into existence? You surely have to be blind or extremely naive to think that these individuals are capable or even have an interest in change.

Our electoral system is heterogeneous, dominated by party vote at times (Like Karachi and Upper Punjab) and at times dominated by people (Parts of Central and Southern Punjab, Rural Sindh and Baluchistan). There are constraints to government's functioning, let there be no doubts about it. The only thing is that you don't claim what you can't be. PTI made claims which were unrealistic, dynastic politics made its ways into PTI through Khattak, PTI had tax evaders making through to electoral candidates and parliamentarians like other main stream parties. PTI had a powerful circle controlling the party through bani gala.
The biggest problem is that PTI went smashing any institution which stood against its "beliefs", ignoring that one day through one way or another, they would have to resort to very institutions. They maligned the Judiciary, ECP, Military and the Parliament openly and relentlessly. And yet they are not willing to appear before the speaker NA to affirm their resignations, Ask the "umpires" -they know better- to intervene and help them, Ask SCP to investigate their Rigging and would need the very ECP to conduct LGBs in KPK.
PTI makes tall claims about freeing Karachi and yet thanks MQM for their "hospitality". I mean from what and whom PTI was thinking about freeing Karachi? TTP or ANP?
PTI has humbled up to the realities of politics but is not willing to accept it. That's why I used the "dishonesty to one's self".

Just coz they say we want change doesnt mean that the same INSTITUTION cant stand after being washed and changed?? Or are you saying for the country to run or to take help of these institution we need to allow them to remain corrupt and lazy (As they were supposed to check these degrees BEFORE ELECTION not 1 yr later or ONLY when someone objects to it! This just shows how weak these institutions are that they cant preform their OWN jobs!)


Military was never maligned in a democratic country if you feel your people are going to be in a loss through the actions of some institution so standing up against that maybe for monarchs is MALIGNING and bad but it is what every other democracy does!

Well no one bothered to ask the ECP to conduct it in KPK why not? coz everyone is soo used to and comfortable with corruption they cant be bothered and then throw the blame on PTI when it is the laziness of those who should ask the ECP to do its work and the lazy ECP should do its work....

A good chance for PTI to punish the culprit and give chance to other candidates .. I don't know what does this has to do with Naya KPK or Purana KPK .. Naya KPK is not suppose to have 100% angels .. Naya KPK should however have one Justice system for all - if a person is found guilty he should be punished according to law .. this is what we all want .. IMPLEMENTATION OF LAW
