Our electoral system is heterogeneous, dominated by party vote at times (Like Karachi and Upper Punjab) and at times dominated by people (Parts of Central and Southern Punjab, Rural Sindh and Baluchistan). There are constraints to government's functioning, let there be no doubts about it. The only thing is that you don't claim what you can't be. PTI made claims which were unrealistic, dynastic politics made its ways into PTI through Khattak, PTI had tax evaders making through to electoral candidates and parliamentarians like other main stream parties. PTI had a powerful circle controlling the party through bani gala.
The biggest problem is that PTI went smashing any institution which stood against its "beliefs", ignoring that one day through one way or another, they would have to resort to very institutions.
