News reports say he will be shifted to Shahbaz Sharif's visionary project, the 'PKLI' (Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute) today. The hospital equipped for this type of disease having 800 bed capacity in Lahore, Punjab. PTI was trying to sabotage this Institute but after lot of public pressure and anger, Dr. Yasmeen Rashid announced in early October this year that PTLI wont be shut down.If Nawaz Sharif had built a good medical system in power then he could have had good treatment for his ailment. LAHORE - As per the initial diagnosis, Nawaz Sharif has been diagnosed with Thrombocytopenia.
On the other hand, a Karachi-based doctor, Tahir Shamsi, has arrived at Lahore’s Services Hospital.
Thrombocytopenia is a condition characterized by abnormally low levels of thrombocytes, also known as platelets, in the blood. A normal human platelet count ranges from 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per microliter of blood.
Meanwhile, medical board will decide today whether to send Nawaz abroad for treatment or not.
