Nawaz Sharif copying PTI’s ideas, says Imran Khan

absolutely true, i am just curious what actually happened to that useless scheme.Where is the money.Did he spend all of it on his hair???

It was PML in 1999 but when mush came PML formed two groups. We argued to ECP that those ppl who have betrayed the ELECTED party leadership have no right on our party name but since ECP was under mush control it said they have as much right as you ppl. So now which PML was supporting mush and which one was supporting NS??? In order to remove this uncertainty we named our PML group as PMLN but the group which was supporting mush wanted to cash this uncertainty hence they named it PMLQ

But now every know that PMLN is the mother party :smokin:

sory tiger correction, it was PML jonejo isnt it?
NS just took the qabza of it & change it too PML n?

In 88 NS was General Secatary not head
This N came in mush time

Historical background
Main articles: Islamic Democratic Alliance, Pakistani general election, 1988, Pakistani general election, 1990, Pakistani general election, 1993, and Pakistani general election, 1997
Its modern history started in 1988 parliamentary elections when Pakistan Muslim League that was led by former prime minister Mohammed Khan Junejo split into two factions, one was led by Fida Mohammad Khan and Nawaz Sharif the then chief minister of Punjab Province and the other by Junejo (who later founded Pakistan Muslim League (F)). In 1988, the Pakistan Muslim League (N) was founded and established by Fida Mohammad Khan, an original Pakistan Movement activist, who became party's founding president, whilst Nawaz Sharif became its first secretary-general.
The PML-N gained prominence 1993 parliamentary elections when it was the part of the right-wing Islamic Democratic Alliance (IDA), but soon the alliance was over with resignation of Nawaz Sharif as prime minister. At this time, the party was among closest to civil bureaucracy, establishment, and the Pakistan Armed Forces, had close ties and influence in Pakistan Armed Forces' appointments and their military strategies.[9]
[edit]1997 Parliamentary elections
The Pakistan Muslim League (N) struck its remarkable, biggest, and most notable achievement in 1997 parliamentary elections, held on February 3, 1997.[10] After securing the Two-thirds majority in the parliamentary, the only political party to have gained Two-thirds majority since the independence of the country in 1947, roughly fifty years past since the independence.[7] During this time, it was the largest conservative party, with its members occupying 137 seats out of 207, roughly representing the 45.9%.[7] In 1997, the party secured its winning with an overwhelming mandate, absolutely light and slight opposition.[10] On February 18, 1997, with Nawaz Sharif obtained a vote of confidence, the Pakistan Muslim League assumed the government of Pakistan.[10]

But at that time we were PML not PMLN

NS came to power in through 90 election

One should thank Imran Khan to make corruption a election agenda.

And with help of agencies also Osama Bin Laden.

IK has tried bring a clean democracy, bt he has jst tried?
He isn't succsessfull, yet & no one knows he will be or not!
For a commonman crouption is not a issue right now, it is the issue of a thin minority which belongs to upper middle class, even elites they don't give a dam about it, bt the donnors club they hve surly tightn the screws on pakistani elite rulling class for sure!
That itself a good achivment itself?
I allways hve tried to tell the peoples that there is no angel out there in this world , its just we all are hummans & we all do some silly things, we should all give us some limited librty, bt we should keep stopping the devil inside us?
It goes for both IK & NS too,bt in recent times in morality & progress IK far ahead thn NS, its only difference that IK hadn't got his hands on the rule bt.I am quit sure he will bring some progress if he learns more of constructive politics to bring a better rulling class in pakistan,IK has his ego problem ,& NS has stoppped going against wind , that's all is happening at a wrong time of history , which we all are part of?

He came into power by gen.zia through gen.jillani, in 1980s!
That was majlis-e-shura at that time!

That was his start. I am talking about when he became the TOP leader of PML. That happened after 90 election
