this is the psyche of people in Pakistan, they grow up following their elders, same way they grow their thoughts following/influenced by their parents political trend. hence become a product of a certain political party.
but that was when there was no other option but PPP and PML and now they are stick to them. it is hard for an educated person to change the party to vote, ego issue.
besides the culture those parties develop of bribe, corruption and parchi system forced the educated class to follow the path and make things easy for them in the life.

this thing broke with the PTI, besides those who never vote for the corrupt parties, mostly their followers are young people.

but the sad thing is PTI too has people corrupt to the core and they are the real threat to PTI following the footsteps of the other two parties some day.
PTI must bring loyal people to the top, if IK cannot do this will never happen in the future. the only hope can be how young people handle the party in the future.

Democracy will never work in Pakistan. The people are just too stupid to be trusted to elect their own governments. Pakistan would be better off under a perpetual Islamic-Military nexus ruling like in the days of President Zia. Or it would be better off as a monarchy with very limited role for an elected government.

this what we have experienced over the decades with the intervention of establishment and make our mind and it is not true.
let the democracy continue and let transfer of power happen in a democratic way no matter how much fractured it is. let the country come out of its infancy with no such experiments of 6 decades.
we are witnessing how things are changing since 2008, let the political parties malign each other, let their leaders get exposed and give them no excuse and let people see what they are. it will bring a change in the behavior of the people towards politics and election, let them learn to vote.
