Navy rescues 100 people stranded in Yemyin cyclone



KARACHI: Pakistan Navy has rescued at least 100 people stranded in Yemyin cyclone, which lashed Pakistan's southern coast on Tuesday.

Pakistan Navy in a daylong rescue operation also steered a missing boat, Al Daulat and saved 17 fishermen onboard, said the spokesman of Pakistan Navy while talking to Geo News.

Pakistan Navy used its vessels and helicopters to search for dozens of people reported missing in the storms. The Navy has also searched two trawlers “ Lady Hamad” and Al-Picaso.
