Navy detains 14 Indian fishermen in Bay

Members of Bangladesh Navy has captured 14 Indian fishermen along with a trawler from the Fairway Buoy area of the Bay of Bengal for intruding into the Bangladesh maritime territory.

A patrol team of Navy detained them while fishing in the Bangladesh territory this morning and later handed them over to the police station concerned.

Mongla Police Station OC Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury confirmed the news.

With this, a total of 63 Indian fishermen were detained from the Fairway Buoy area in the last 23 days.

I think the radars are a ploy by India not to catch its fishermen thieves by BD. It will fix special stealth chips to the trawlers/boats that will deflect Indian radars in the BD shore. This is I really believe. We do not have to trust the mean-minded Sanghis.
