Navy Commander: Persian Gulf to Remain "Persian" Forever

Thanks dear actually KURFUZI & Körfezi the phonetics is same just the difference of English and Turkish allophones. if you wud have kept the Arabic script of your language then you guess?;)

Are you female, 'dear'? ;-) You know, Turkish was a much much richer language only a hundred years ago, due to mainly Farsi (Persian) but also Arabic influence. In the past 100 years or so, so-called nationalists have practically destroyed the Turkish language. An objective Turkish intellectual has called it "linguistic genocide".

ya i understand your pain but your country is in absolutely right track so your good time is very near. dear im not female but i wish that u must be a female:what:

Why "black Pakistan" we have mix black, brown and also blond people , India is derived from the river name "Indus " and it was coined by Britishers and widely used in outside world ,Bharat is the name in Hindi and Hendostan is another name coined by Moslem Rulers this is also widely used even today.

OK stop fighting "NO ARAB GULF NO PERSIAN GULF" we will call it by the great Ottoman name "Khalij of Basra" or "Basra Kurfuzi" meaning the Gulf of Basra.

You are slightly wrong....The British people didn't coin the name India....

Christopher Columbus named the native Americans as Red Indians because he thought he had reached India.......AND that was in 1492......almost 300 years before the British came to India.....How did Columbus know of a country India back then????

:offtopic:

Why is the Persian Gulf called the persian gulf anyway?
Is it because the Achmaenids and/or Sassanids at one point controlled all the land around it?....kind of like how the Mediterranean used to be called the "Roman Sea".

Whatever the pros and cons of the Iranian regime may be, Iranian indigenous advancements and achievements by Iranians abroad sure deserve some recognition.

Just as an example, in the following list (a list of authors in a Western publication), we find an Iranian scientist ahead of any other Muslim majority country scientist.
