Thanks dear actually KURFUZI & Körfezi the phonetics is same just the difference of English and Turkish allophones. if you wud have kept the Arabic script of your language then you guess?
Are you female, 'dear'? ;-) You know, Turkish was a much much richer language only a hundred years ago, due to mainly Farsi (Persian) but also Arabic influence. In the past 100 years or so, so-called nationalists have practically destroyed the Turkish language. An objective Turkish intellectual has called it "linguistic genocide".
