Taking to Twitter, Sidhu tweeted a copy of his resignation letter, "My letter to the Congress President Shri. Rahul Gandhi Ji, submitted on 10 June 2019."

He is an MLA and not an MP. He has low standing even with his Congress colleagues in Punjab. Capt Amarinder Singh will give even BJP an run for its money if talks are centered on patriotism and nationalism. Sidhu is a joker on TV and rightly so now even in political life.

Cos people voted for Capt Amarinder Singh. Not this joker. Its like saying people voted for PTI MP instead of voting for IK. In Subcontinental politics, people vote on the basis of CM/PM candidate. And some second rung leaders has mass base. Sidhu has none.
