And you know what happened? Beyond what Indian propaganda fed to you in your newspapers? Indian Ocean is infested with pirates near India. If Indian navy is doing their job, other countries don't need to post guards to secure the sea lane.
Do tell, which parts of India ocean is infested with pirates, how many pirate attacks have actually taken place near Indian coast line in recent past?
And How do you know the fishing vessel approached the merchant ship at high speed or the warning shot were fired ..has this been corroborated in the vessel's radar plots..if so , in which court?Normal fisherman boat won't approach a merchant ship in high speed and not back away when warned. These two Indian "fishermen" were clearly working for the pirates as advance scout. The two Italian marines were protecting the safety of the ship. Besides it's in international water.
Your second statement about these unarmed fisherman being "advance scout"..actually shows how dumb you are!!
Purpose of scout ship(if there were any such thing in piracy) is spot a vessel and report to the mother ship(so that the mother ship can launch an attack). Obviously an unarmed "scout ship" will not approach a vessel at high speeds, to scare it off, make it increase it speed.
If India has so much evidence as you claimed, why don't you try them in court instead of holding them for a year. That just means you have nothing beyond trumped up charge. The Italian government is wise to remove their people from a banana republic.
Indian judicial process is slow but just, you do not put the cart before the horse, investigation has to be carried out before a final charge sheet is submitted infact the case is already going on Kerla high court and marines were released on bail.
By pulling off this stunt Italian govt has assured that its ambassador is now involved in criminal conspiracy to escape felons..which might not spell to good for him, if Indian govt is able to find a legal way around his diplomatic immunity.
