Naval chief meets top brass of Jordanian forces

AMMAN: Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah, while on an official visit to Jordan called on the Jordanian Armed Forces Joint Chiefs of Staff, Chairman Lieutenant General Mahmoud A Fraihat, and Royal Jordanian Air Force Commander, Major General Yousef A H Alhnaity.

In the meeting on Tuesday with Lt Gen Mahmoud, matters pertaining to mutual interest and defence cooperation between the two countries were discussed. The admiral highlighted Pakistan's commitment and performance in the fight against terrorism, including participation in the Coalition Maritime Campaign Plan (CMCP) and Counter Piracy Operations as well as Command of Multinational Task Forces 150 and 151.

Lieutenant General Mahmoud A Fraihat acknowledged the significance of a close and strong defence association in diverse realms between armed forces of both the countries. While lauding the professional acumen and commitment of the Pakistan Navy, General Mahmoud expressed his hope to extend cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.

Separately, in the meeting with Royal Jordanian Air Force commander, the Admiral discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral defence ties. Major General Yousef A H Alhnaity highlighted the warm and brotherly relations shared between Pakistan and Jordan based on strong defence foundations and historical ties. He lauded the Pakistan Navy's efforts in promoting peace and security in the maritime domain.

It is expected that the recent visit by the naval chief will further enhance and expand defence ties between the two countries in general and between the armed forces in particular.

When we dont have Foreign minster and policy, only army left to cover their sh*t and these cheifs are doing good.

at some extent i will not agree, army is only option . what do u think nawaz sharif and zardari are capable to handle foreign policy, they cant tight their shalwars naara.... they both jut stuck in local politics.
