Nature White Paper: 85% of young Chinese scientists overseas plan to return to China within 5 years

Could Kenya,China build a V1 flying bomb in 1948 like VN ?? No, you could not.

So why VN could ?? Bcs we got V1 tech transfer from Nazi.

No body wanna transfer high tech to CN, so you guys must have some outdated R&D while VN can convince pple to transfer high tech to us.

Thats the different bween VN-CN. CN in the level of Kenya while VN is in a differet league.

Don't worry. I'm high tech bro. I got your back.

. .
Then it is the right time for VCP spies to take over.

The question is, can you pull it off?
I will be very surprised if we don't deploy spies to China, neither in your government nor in the PLA. We might know more about you than yourself.

.
So they have a chance to get the US citizenship and get high position in US federal which they spy on US for the motherland China :enjoy:

You have good humor sense. Such kids will grown up in US, with the west education system there, they will be good , trusted citizens of USA.

Now that there will be less and less scientists from China in the US, and more and more from other rising states like Vietnam, and Vietnam being a Communist state, I am sure the VCP will utilize those Vietnamese scientists to gather all the data Clinton forgets on her desktop in the Library of Congress.

The question, however, is, are your scientists capable of an effective operation in the US?

And, once the data is stolen, will you be able to turn it into actual, marketable product?

Do you logistics, know-how, machinery and craftsmanship to do that?

When was the last great Vietnamese invention?

ha ha ha you certainly know how hard the competition in America is. the winner takes it all.
take Silicon Valley. while most chinese settle down in San Francisco, our people live in San Jose. North and South of Silicon Valley respectively. the more chinese go home, the more have our people more chance to get best paid jobs. at Google, Apple, Sun and Intel. It is not saying we spy in the US. no way. we always are loyal to respective home country.

I know. We have been there, done that.

Lots of people I personally know used to own company/worked in Silicon Valley back in the 90s. In the 2000s, a great many of them returned although they still have properties there.

Some of the returnees have finally ended up in the Mainland.

Nah, Blood is always thicker than water. :)

Like Mr.Xi Jinping said “We are one family, We are brothers who are still connected by our flesh even if our bones are broken. :smitten:

we would love to fill the void if more Chinese patriots return to the motherland. You are a tough competitor. Our people can expand to the north area of Silicon Valley.

Not that simple, but, wish you the best. A more prosperous Vietnam is only a good new for China.

At the moment, we are more concerned about creating our own industrial/tech parks and national champions.

China is still a developing nation with lots of things to do.

why do rich people buy expensive cars? Big mansions?

Because they can.

China spends big on vocational education: report
December 3, 2015

China has increased money going into vocational education, with good results in the past five years, according to an interim evaluation published on Wednesday.

Statistics show that in 2014, the country's input into secondary and higher vocational education was 190.7 billion yuan (around 29.8 billion U.S. dollars) and 151.8 billion yuan respectively, increasing by 59.02 and 64.78 percent respectively compared to 2009.

Published by the Ministry of Education on China's National Plan for Medium and Long-Term Education Reform and Development (2010-2020), the evaluation report specifically focuses on vocational education in China.

Around 91.5 percent of students in secondary vocational schools from rural areas or families with financial difficulties are enjoying tuition-free education, while 40 percent of them get an annual 2,000-yuan education grant from the government.

Nearly ten million graduates from vocational schools are hired as technical personnel every year, accounting for 60 percent of the total employed population.

The employment rate of secondary vocational school graduates has been above 95 percent for five years in a row, and the number for higher vocational schools reached 91.5 percent in 2014, making vocational schools an important base for technical personnel.

However, as many as 12 provinces still don't have a standard for the average expenditures on students in secondary vocational schools, while nine provinces don't have one in higher vocational schools.

"Vocational education is still a weak link in our education system," said Wang Jiping, an inspector on vocational and adult education at the ministry, stating that various problems for graduates, school conditions and others still need to be dealt with.

In China, vocational education is where the money is. Social science seems to be already overcrowded and the competition for few positions are cut-throat.
