now as they(NATO & Allies) have admitted that they did it.the responsibles should be trialed in Pakistani Court. after all a Pakistani's life is as precious as an American life.

I doubt any General / current PM / ex PMs would have the courage to demand that. After all USA is safest exile for them after they are toppled. The sad ground reality is that an American life is more precious than the others. Until a few years back many US Marines accused of rape in Japan were never handed over to the local courts for the trials.Usually cases involving murder, rape during peacetime involving civilians are tried by the civic authorities instead of a military court. Only after years of protest by the civil population in Japan did USA grudgingly agree to try the men in a Japanese court. Even UK courts were unable to get much justice for the UK soldiers killed in a friendly fire incident in Iraq. No prize for guessing who did the Bombing - USAF.

I agree with you that any innocent killed in any military operation, the incident must be investigated and the guilty punished irrespective of how noble their original intentions were.

I was reading a thread "Peace in Waziristan" in pakdef. And I have to say i was impressed by some of the insights of the members, both pro and cons. Since I am against the terrorist i will point from that prespective .
how can you call those killed civilians, only cuz they werent in the army. Every militant is a civilian. 12 year old boy in waziristan was made to behead a man, and then pick up his head; cry allah ho akbar. I can now see why these places have so many kids. These places in tribal areas where education is next to nil, is the best breeding places for al-qaeda types.

Is peaceful talks the answer, hardly. People who can make little kids do this, is hardly going to listen to reason and have human values. They are that brainwashed.

Without Pakistan's support....NATO is doomed to failure....the fact that NATO has still not subdued and controlled this area shows their incapacity to complete this mission. Pakistan needs to play 'skillfully' with them...BUT should not tolerate any attacks on it's civilans from them......Our lives are not cheaper than any other.....If you look around the world....Muslims are being blasted in every direction...but it does not mean anything to them.....except so called luke war term's used - COLLATERAL damage....or friendly fire..I think Pakistan (ISI assistance required) needs to assist 'loyal' forces In Afghanistan to experience this COLLATERAL damage on NATO/US forces.....this should make them re-think!...a Kinda Tit-for Tat rsponse...obviously covertly...We still need to 'milk' them for the military hardware and economic recovery!

I think Pakistan has to be extremely wise.....we need to 'encourage' Nato/US to make the Taliban part of the Government....as indicated by certain western analysts.

With these kinda posts anyone can say that u r lost. market places r getting blown up because of the presence of US troops in Iraq. It wasn't like that before.

Dear Friends,

Just a legal question. If a UK soldier / civilian is killed in friendly fire the family can go to court ask for an inquest can the same be done in Pakistan and do courts have the power to order payment of compensation etc ?

I have got infractions on as little as calling a guy idiot and having a differnet point of view. I dont see any treatment lamented out to the really idiotic gentlemen, There is a reason why this site is the only site I post. And you are loosing perspective. I see a very good debate in pakdef about Peace in Waziristan; with lot of people having the same views as mine, for me saying the same i said here, i am called a hindutva terrorist. But as long as you press the delete button, then you dont have to serve him justice, especially since he has got 3 infractions for the same or even lesser kind of talk...
