NATO kills Afghan children during school hours

14562_1.jpg

At least four school children and a teacher have been killed and several others wounded in a missile attack by French aggressors on a school in Kapisa Province in central Afghanistan.

A member of the Kapisa provincial puppet council also confirmed the attack, reports the PressTV.
Meanwhile, Karzai minions in Kabul said they had information only about the murder of the school teacher, and children, they say, were only wounded. The minions did not mention that the French aggressors had bombed the school during the school hours.

It is to be recalled that at the end of May, the American terrorist government killed 12 children and 2 women in Afghanistan. At that time, it became known that as a result of an air raid on the village in Helmand province, six children and women had been seriously injured. The terrorist NATO command, as usual in such cases, called the murder an "incident" and promised "to conduct an investigation".

Meanwhile, as evidenced even by Karzai sources, only civil houses were targeted by the missile attack from helicopters there, and not the IEA positions. Women and children in the house did not expect the raid and therefore they did not try to hide. They were deliberately killed with rockets in retaliation for an attack of the IEA Mujahideen on military base in Nevzade. It is to be mentioned in this context that the US-NATO terrorist troops regularly kill Afghan children, bomb wedding parties, funeral processions, conduct missile and artillery attacks on villages, where the Mujahideen fighters are not present. And every time, the bloody invaders cynically say that they will "surely investigate the incident".

America kills children also in Pakistan and Waziristan, using drones. In contrast to Afghanistan, after the killings in Waziristan, the Americans crusaders do not consider it necessary to even respond to the accusations of the infanticide.

Let us first get the reaction of NATO, before commenting..

But I feel that It might be case of mistaken identity or Judgement error... I don't believe that NATO had purposefully did it...

.
Look at the bias in the title and the article! Why would NATO forces aim for kids at school? With their money in debt, they are cutting corners everywhere to get the maximum bang out of their buck and you're talking as if NATO is so jobless as to pound against innocent school children. Come on.

This article has been taken from an extremist Chechen propaganda website that glorifies acts of terrorism against innocents in Afghanistan. Propaganda posted on the KAVKAZ website is similar to that of the Taliban who make false, unjustified and exaggerated claims of success instead of truthfully reporting their cowardly lethal tactics against civilians with child suicide bomber and IEDs.

The following link reveals how just last week a Taliban suicide attack claimed the lives of eight innocent Afghans in Kapisa.

Afghanistan suicide attack on governor's office kills 8 - World - CBC News

The original source of this propaganda, Iranian state run news agency Press TV,makes no mention of a NATO rocket hitting a school. Witness, forum readers, that in the battle against insurgents, innocent people fall victim to the cowardly tactics of insurgents who hide among civilians and use them as human shields. After which, without any dignity or respect for rules of warfare and the families of Muslim victims, these terrorists release graphic imagery of dead civilians – regardless of whether they were killed by their own attacks or during a battle with military and security forces --to evoke hatred and misunderstanding among people. This type of brainwashing is used to trap new recruits for suicide attacks. It is not the policy or tactic of the NATO forces to attack, or intentionally injure, kill or harm any civilians. In fact, we make it our utmost priority to keep civilians safe and out of harm’s way.

In the following link witness how we are working with the people in Kapisa province to rebuild their homes by providing Provincial Reconstruction Teams with security, resources and equipment.

Naming the NATO forces as crusaders and invaders is far from truth. We are on the contrary, helping the strong Afghan people restore peace, governance and stability a country ravaged by terrorists. We never intended at any time to occupy Afghanistan. We took no action against the brutal Taliban regime until the 9/11 terror attacks, plotted and executed by terrorists harbored by them, made it necessary. Even then, we worked with indigenous resistance fighters to overthrow the regime, and allowed them to select a new government and constitution. We have never dictated to them how to govern their country, but have supported them for a decade in their fight against indiscriminate violence from the Taliban. To suggest otherwise is propaganda by those who this post mistakenly refer to as ”Mujahedeen.” Taliban have done, not service, but disservice tot heir country, the Afghan people and Islam.Would Mujahedeen callously murder thousands of their fellow Afghans, as illustrated by this attack on a bank in Jalalabad, for which the perpetrators recently received justice from the Afghan government?

So why, except to mislead, would anyone call them Mujahedeen?

Centcom,

I didn't read a denial there that the killing did not happen, and it wasn't through Nato fired weapon. We can debate on, if it was inadvertent or negligent but are you suggesting that the whole incident is made up and no school kids died as a result of Nato weapons?

Your argument is valid the first five times, may be seven. But now collateral damage and the fact that terrorists (who are supposed to be bad guys anyway) are hiding behind civilians, just does not fly. If you can't do it without killing kids, you shouldn't be doing it. This is no justification that you HAD to kill some kids.

I agree its a poorly and viciously worded article, but your response was so crass and so fake and the video links were so manipulative that it just puts the spotlight back on to what you guys (Since you're here as a representative of the USG) are really upto and if you're even getting any closer to ending this endless cycle of killing children and saying "oops".

French attack kills 5 Afghan civilians

At least five people have been killed and several others left wounded in a French missile attack on a school in Kapisa Province in central Afghanistan.

According to Afghan media, the French rocket attack on a school in Kapisa Province's Tagab district claimed the lives of at least five people, including four students and a principal, and injured several other students and teachers on Sunday, a Press TV correspondent reports.

A member of the Kapisa provincial council has also confirmed the attack.

The Afghan government and local sources, however, say that only the school's principal was killed and seven people, including two teachers and five students, were injured in the attack.

According to the local sources, it is not clear whether the rocket was fired by French troops or Taliban militants.

The French forces and NATO are yet to comment on the incident.

Hundreds of civilians have lost their lives in US-led airstrikes and ground operations in various parts of Afghanistan over the past few months, with Afghans becoming increasingly outraged over the seemingly endless number of deadly assaults.

US-led forces in Afghanistan regularly launch attacks on alleged militant hideouts, but the strikes usually result in civilian casualties.

Civilian casualties have long been a source of friction between the Afghan government and US-led foreign forces. The loss of civilian lives at the hand of foreign forces has dramatically increased anti-American sentiments in Afghanistan.

Karzai gives US ‘last warning’ over Afghan civilian deaths

KABUL – Afghan President Hamid Karzai called on the US military on Sunday to avoid operations that kill civilians, saying it was his "last warning" to Washington after 14 people allegedly died in an air strike.

Reacting to the alleged deaths of 10 children, two women and two men in an air strike on Saturday in the southern province of Helmand, Karzai said such incidents were "murdering of Afghanistan's children and women."

"The president called this incident a great mistake and the murdering of Afghanistan's children and women, and on behalf of the Afghan people gives his last warning to the US troops and US officials in this regard," his office said, adding that he "strongly condemned" the killings.

Citing initial "reports and heartrending pictures published on media" Karzai's office said 10 children, two women and two men were killed in the raid.

Adopting an unusually angry tone, Karzai said the US-led operations were "arbitrary" and unnecessary".

"The president said that US and NATO troops have been repeatedly told that their arbitrary and unnecessary operations cause the deaths of innocent Afghans and such operations violate human and moral values but it appears that (we) are not listened to," the statement said.

Local authorities in Helmand said that US Marines called in air support after their base in Nawzad district came under attack from small arms fire.

"During the air strike, two civilian houses were targeted which killed 14 civilians and six others were wounded," the provincial administration said in a statement.

The statement said the dead included five girls, seven boys and two women.

The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said it was investigating the allegations.

"ISAF are aware of the reports that civilians were allegedly killed in an ISAF air strike," spokesman Major Tim James told AFP.

"(The) Regional Command South West has sent a joint assessment team to the area to look into the allegation and they will issue their findings to the press."

Footage and pictures from the troubled region showed turbaned men carrying the bodies of children and showing them to unseen journalists.

Aslam, a local elder of Nawzad district, told AFP he "lost 12 relatives while 10 others including children were injured" in the air strike.

He said some shots were fired at ISAF helicopters which flew into the area, adding that the choppers returned after 10 to 20 minutes and fired rockets, killing the "innocent civilians".

Separately the governor of Nuristan on Sunday told AFP that 18 civilians and 20 police were killed by "friendly fire" during US-led air strikes against insurgents in his troubled northeastern province.

Nuristan was the scene of heavy battles last week between the Taliban and Afghan security forces. The police and civilians were targeted Wednesday after they were mistaken for militants, Jamaluddin Badr said.

"The policemen were killed due to friendly fire," Badr said, adding the air strike in the troubled district of Do Ab targeted a location that the officers "had just" taken from the insurgents during fighting.

"Civilians were killed because the Taliban... (who) ran out of ammunition fled into the civilians' houses and then the civilians were mistaken with the Taliban and fired upon," the governor said.

Major James said those allegations were also being investigated.

"ISAF has sent a fact-finding team to investigate the allegations about civilian and police casualties in Nuristan," he said.

"Our initial reporting does not indicate civilian casualties in that air strike," he added.

The issue of civilian casualties is highly sensitive in Afghanistan as Karzai struggles to win the hearts and minds of his people against the Taliban.

The United Nations says Afghan civilian deaths in the war increased 15 percent to a record high of 2,777 last year. More than three-quarters of the dead were killed in violence blamed on insurgents.

Thats great!
The children were terrorists having M-4s and AK-47s with then. They even had Hand Grenades in their bags and were studying gorilla war in the school.
Some of them knew how to built nukes. They could all finish/take over Amreeka in few days! Also, they were Muslims which posses even greater threat!
