LAHORE – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said that every sector of the country is on the verge of collapse and national dialogue is only way to improve country’s situation.

Talking to media at the Rasm-e-Qul of his mother in Jati Umra on Sunday, he said that the government has ruined country’s economy.

To a question regarding how the country’s situation can be improved, the PML-N president said, "Get me out of prison, then I can tell you how to fix the country. Right now I have been released on parole.

“Only collective efforts could improve country’s situation,” he added.

Shehbaz said that there is an urgent need of national dialogue, adding that the political parties would have to be on the same page if we want the situation in the country to improve. However, he said that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has poisoned politics, now everything starts and ends with abuse.

Sharing memories with his late mother Begum Shamim Akhtar, he said that his mother used to scold him in his childhood and then love him at the same time.

The opposition leader said that he felt helpless in prison when he heard about his mother s demise.

@Irfan Baloch Pls listen HM on the same Zubair-COAS meeting insider story detail from another angle.
This is backstabing.....!! It only serves personal bias but hurts long term interests of our establishment.

Pakistan would be a 1000 times better with the Sharif family 6feet under. These bastards destroyed our country.
You can get rid of the Shareefs, the problem is that you can't get rid of the mentality that votes for them.

Foujiyon ka shahzada and punjab's favorite leader will get the power. He and maryam are special people and rest are cockroaches. Pakistani media are mouth pieces of military and shareef secret game of politics and power.

These haraam khors are asking for a national dialogue on the same pattern of NRO to forgive thier unacceptable crimes and treachery.

brother,
one thing I have learned is that media personalities and opinion makers mix facts with factions for a bit of sensationalism, greed or intimidation. it is really hard to get a handle on the thinking of establishment. for me there is a big question mark on its credibility specially in relation to TLP and existence of radical Red mosque leadership that openly supports Daesh,

Hamid Mir on one hand will expose Indian claim of Balakot by showing us tree and dead crow during 27 Feb 19 encounter on another occasion he will visit Bangladesh and get praise for an extremely anti Pakistan government. just because he made some comments that pleased Indians and Bangladeshis.

I have close friends who have relatives with important Noon league positions and they see Shabaz, Ch Nisar, Khawaja Asif etc as suspicious because they talked about reconciliation with establishment and tone down the hostilities. here I am just pointing at a difference of opinion or a reconciliation approach which maybe not be a conspiracy of establishment.

watch this space as Hamid Mir or anyone else will change course in future.
