with imf touts who are present currently in finance ministry this goal seems very difficult to achieve and army should advise govt to appoint credible and honest people.I think ik should fire AbdulHafeez shiekh and reappoint Asad Umer as finance minister as he has not served in previous corrupt govts tenures and is a person who can be trusted by nation

The only way ahead is to generate more business,more trust in economy and rupee value, educate more people to join the tax net, and most importantly fix the corruption in FBR, Police, Customs, and other law enforcers.

This government deliberately ignoring above just concentrating on taxes,increasing tarrif, squeeze people further, and opposition "ehtisaab". These dual standards started to be kept since Oct 2010 when all corrupt started to join PTI and become clean, this trend continued uptil today. And Imran khan don't care about it probably since he is also morally corrupt.

Very good question. Previous COAS allowed the economy to suffer under 10 years of so called democracy and this COAS want people to fix it.

What is missing is a chart or plan , which shows prices will rise for 1.5 years and by 4th year they will come down to 1990's level

Having a strong independent economy is important to national security. Elected leaders can not be 100% trusted to do the right things for the national economy. COAS should keep on eye on it.S Korea economic boom was administered by a the military junta of General Park Jun Hee. East Asia should be Pakistan's role model going foward.
