স্বাস্থ্য প্রতিমন্ত্রী আরো বলেন, নারী নীতিতে কোথাও কোরআন বিরোধী কিছু নেই। তবুও মুফতি আমিনী এটা নিয়ে ব্যবসা করছেন। তিনি বলেন, ইসলাম শুধু আমিনীর সম্পদ নয়, এটা আমাদের সবার।

সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন স্বাধীনতা সংসদের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান এটিএম জসিম উদ্দিন। প্রধান আলোচক ছিলেন সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয় সম্পর্কিত সংসদীয় কমিটির সভাপতি কাজী কেরামত আলী। আরো বক্তব্য রাখেন, প্রফেসর ডা. মির্জা মাজহারুল ইসলাম, চিত্র পরিচালক সালাউদ্দিন লাভলু, চিত্র নায়িকা নূতন ও শিল্পী সংগীতা খান প্রমুখ।

Just curious, what is Bangladeshi identity and in what way is it different than Bengali identity? Heck even Bangladesh literally means Country of Bengalis, you people should have named your country Bangistan as proposed by some loony before partition.

If one wants to talk about the Muslim identity, they must also learn not to divide the Muslims into sects like Shia, Sunni, Sufi etc.

It is for all to see, all around the world, that these divisions of sect is what makes the Muslim people high on their desire to uphold the Muslim identity, but low in ensuring the same, as they are perpetually fighting as to whose Islam is the true way to Paradise.

Just see what is happening in the true Islamic nations which have ensured that non Muslims are not their citizens. They are in shambles over the sectarian internecine wars. They are killing each other.

Therefore, they must come to a consensus as to what is the Islamic identity before vacantly flaunting religion with a false bravado as being an uniter of a nation!!

The fact that they are at loggerheads with each other and it is what is dividing their Nation with immense bloodshed of Muslim blood and not uniting it.

Maybe Al Zakira, who is at the forefront, could explain as it is a conundrum that I see daily every day in the newspaper reporting world events.

in Bangladesh people dont care about shia sunni. . . . We r all muslims . . . Even many people doesnot knw whether they are shia or sunni. .
