I want to be Pakistan Army chief: Baloch student

The army chief announced that 5,000 Baloch youth would be inducted in the army later this month when the national census, currently under way in parts of the country, is completed. The latest recruitment drive will bring the number of conscripts in recent months to 9,000, some 4,000 of whom were inducted earlier — as revealed by the army chief.

There's nothing wrong with utilizing a barren piece of land, filling it with water, populating it with fish and employing a few retired NCOs to manage the affairs. The retired guys get a job and we get cheap, zinda taza machli. Unfortunately, as the opportunity is not available to certain disgruntled civilians, so we really dont care when try their azz off to put the effort into a bad light. ;)

Can anybody buy the fish so produced or are sales limited to military personnel?

Not to clear on that but civilian's are allowed to purchase things like bread, milk and groceries from CSD at a slightly cheaper rate, not the subsidized rate ofc, also civilians can even purchase dogs from the Army Kennels if they have a minimum of 10 Lakh and some reference in the military.

As long as the rules allow for everyone to benefit from such commercial activities, it can only grow the overall economy. Building exclusive barriers is what creates the friction.

Normally yes. It is available in the market like anything else. The pamphlet quoted by @Leader shows that.

However, if the quantity is less, like if the production was on a limited scale at a very local level, like at a satellite station, then may be the item are not made available to public.

As long it is available in the market the same as other supplies, subject to availability, then it is all good. Our people need better access to good protein sources in their diets, no matter how.

Items at the CSD are not subsidized for anyone, not even the faujis.

Yes, like you must have experienced at very large stores e.g Macro, Metro or other large vendors, that things are usually cheaper by a few rupees because of the huge circulation, similarly CSD like any other large outlets have cheaper items available even to the civilians.

Lately, we have started giving 5% discount at CSDs to faujis provided they get a discount card prepared.
