Hmmm..... yara you may never get it, few mainland Pakistani's do, so I'll not hold it against you.

Now.... first of all..... I'm never COOL with Talibs/Wahabis. Only good Talib/Wahabi is a dead one.

Main story...... some of our lower caste Pashtuns went to bed with the Wahabis and learned how to blow themselves up....long story short, rest of Pakistan slapped a label of "Talib" on them. (forgetting that only these low-caste Pashtuns were the ones on their payroll for three decades - I won't go into details about it here)

About Pashtun culture: Our people were always conservative (nothing to do with Islamic conservatism), they still are (our own code of life), our people always had beard and wore the same clothes. However, the difference now being that whenever you see a Pashtun with a beard, you identify him with a Talib, whereas that is not the case, 99% of the time.

This whole world is about perceptions, and our people failed to recognize this on the right time....

Seriously @Hyperion you into all this lower and higher caste like the Hindu caste system?! Didnt expect that from you!!
