Hoohoo! So sheesha but no cigarettes, yes?

Ah..imagine this will you...

Any way, any chance you can give me the down low on the new Pakistani budget? Most of the posters posting about it are politicizing the whole affair and thus making it quite useless.

That too , but it doesn't really cause any tiredness , now does it ? :D

Maybe you can find something of substance in the Provincial budget of Sindh , Punjab and KPK , the federal ones are the worst I have seen in history and just paint the same gloomy picture of the worsening economy , nothing more , nothing less . You see the % of the budget which is to be acquired through external debts ? They are going to the IMF , sooner or later and this time it will be much much harder , why ? Because there have been enough taxes imposed on the people and the ones who really need to pay taxes aren't ready to do that .

Exactly what percentage of the budget is being acquired through external debts?

. .
37% . I remember seeing on the Television , though it will need confirmation .

:cheesy: Enhhh..are you sure..that's more than a quarter of the budgetary outlay coming from ze firangs and other assorted fellows..NOT GOOD!

Unless of course I misunderstood the ' external debts ' , pretty much . Yeah , it is not good but I expected nothing good after the PPP's democratic rule for 5 years .

Run the economy down and crush the junta. The Pakistani government probably holds the longest record for sitting in the IMF'S lap now..in the sense of going back for loans rather than paying interests over a period..oh well its not as if the awam is going to be unhappy..they'll just be looking at their brothers on the mountains and praying..So ummm no offense but. any plans to shift over with your cousins this side of the border..you're welcome you know.

Whilst the numbered accounts pile up , yes . Taking debts to pay the former debts has been the norm for a long time now . The IMF isn't going to give any loan in the first place and if it does , the conditions are going to be the worst . Terrorism and extremism is a bigger problem though because the country isn't lacking resources , but leadership .

Thanks for the offer , bon ami :D But I think I am going to complete my bachelors here and then head over to Australia .

Sure , but will not it get published in due time ( assuming 7 hours as such ) ?
