Sometimes it look boring to me specially when i have missed it in between! I often watch CSI Miami or Newyork, Which ever come on TV!

well mostly it is not continuous!

CSI LV and miami has amazing tools! THEY can see stuff normal eyes and real instruments cant!

Its just amazing how they can make a picture clear with all these advanced tools which are not very realistic!

American empire gets arrogant by the day, they are at a point in history where "convincing" is an outdated concept.

It doesn't matter,it hasn't and it wont. America only understands power,they have a military which is like a huge sledgehammer, and when you carry a sledgehammer everything seems like a nail, until it breaks your sledgehammer.

They don't want to and they have the luxury to be able to afford not to want to understand our narrative.

Talking logic to them is as fruitful as milking an ox.

Most of them would be Indians. I don't know if you have spent enough time in Pakistan to understand the ground realities and the social fabric that makes it function. Pakistan as an ideological state was built on this concept for a reason. Islam is like the glue that holds our country together, without it we are Punjabis,Sindhis,Balochis,Brahiwis,Pashtuns,Kashmiris,Hazzaras and everything else. I reject secularism for Pakistan myself, for a number of reasons. However i don't wish to see Pakistan becoming a dictatorial theocracy, Qaid was democrat and the current system i believe can be made better and would be what we need to turn it into a prosperous country. India and Indians, know that its our ideology that keeps us united even in the most dire circumstances. They have worked,they are working and they will work to try and break it up.

Pakistanis are generally oblivious to the importance of the F.Policy. Islamist is an abused term and its hardly an offense.

Having an alliance with America is something we do out of compulsion, if you don't know we are the ONLY country on the ENTIRE Asian continent which is still unfriendly to Russia, if we give Moscow way, they can again become an extremely powerful nation, historically they have tried to conquer our region either through politics or invasion and have failed so far . The day we realize our own geographic and political importance, we would be in a position to trade interests with the Americans.

That will always be there, get used to it.

We are a state ruled by morons elected through NRO, which has turned us into a Satellite state which they control by installing puppets in Islamabad. Change always comes from the top but is always brought through the bottom, a true patriotic govt in Pakistan can turn this country around. The times have changed, Pakistan is well positioned to play its cards well in Asia, we are right in the middle of the greatest economic shift in human history & would be too stupid not to be able to take our fair share.

I thank you for your good wishes. I was thinking of not replying as it changes the environment of Naswar corner... something I usually do with my posts.

Do not worry about raising the issues. I do not back down even if my life is at stake nor do I capitulate on my views and ideas. There were death threats too long ago but seems like nothing anymore. We largely agree Aeronaut.

However about secularism I guess we do not need to see it as an Anti-Islamic concept. That can be the first step. Islam glues us together indeed but I do not believe that secularism may diminish Islam but will allow it to flourish.

In fact if you look at the theories of Ibn Rushd you will be surprised... so we do not even have to call our system secularism-just averoeism (Averoes is Ibn Rushd's western name) or Islam based on Mu'tazili thought and we are automatically there. We have been thinking of it in very incorrect terms. Most people don't even know that it is our concept on which all of western society is based today. We do not take pride in this and condemn it? Its like we gave the west a pyjama to wear while we are without one and are then are condemning not even the west but the pyjama as something stupid.

My and your views on this may differ and the matter may be better discussed elsewhere. But do not think of it negatively and maintain ijtehad (debate form-not reformation-debate is first step to reform) on religious concepts. I would advise this. You do not believe in the theory-it is fine-most Pakistanis don't either but lets maintain debate on it and maybe I can convince some people later. I remember people who in 2007 criticized me severely and in 2010 kissed my hands. lol.

The world is changing, ijtehad has the power to lead us through. My philosophy for internal affairs and foreign policy are far different. This makes it difficult for me to be accepted in liberal or right wing camps. It is our duty to solve problems at home without foreign pressure. Foreign pressure can only make us solve their problems and suffer bombings to protect them.

Mentalist is good but I hate that lead lady. Watched up to 2 seasons ten discontinued.

I like Criminal Minds. "Sherlock" is the best but they release just three episodes per year.

Not all! Some are like WOW! like that mass spectrum machine which prints you the name of the substance rather than the elements involved! THAT hasnt been made!

And the speed at which they do DNA testing has not been achieved as of yet! so come back to the real world!

I am surprised you didn't like Sherlock. You are the first person to say so that I know of.

Do you like Law based serials ? Try "Practice". I find it best serious Lawyer serial.

If you like Sherlock, you may like Elementary. Its also US spin off of Sherlock.
