Narendra Modi's wife Jashodaben kept at isolated Ramdev ashram, claims report

The only aspect in which my book is relevant is that Babu Ramdev in a recent speech suggested that Modi would seek to achieve Akhand Bharat through annexation of Pakistan and Bangladesh. This news report suggests that Ramdev has some power and influence over Modi. Since you insist in bringing my book into every thread even when only tangentially relevant here is the link for your satisfaction -

What kind of a question is that? Why would anyone be bothered to find out whether he is celibate or not? And how does it even matter?

This was reported in an Indian newspapers that two front runners to be Indian PM were unmarried ...

I was replying to an insistent Indian. He should be banned for posting irrelevant comments and for harassment.
Harassment. Seriously?:haha:

And since when does unmarried means being celibate?
As long as he does'nt go around fathering illegitimate children being brought up on taxpayers money , his sexual life should not be of any concern to you or anybody:nono:

Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi who declared for the first time Jashodaben as his wife recently when he filed the nomination papers from Vadodara, it seems, has more troubles to face on the matrimonial front.

While there were rumours that Modi's wife had left for Char Dham Yatra, a news magazine has claimed that she has been whisked away and kept at yoga guru Ramdev's ashram in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

According to an exclusive report in The Week, Jashodaben was picked up and packed off to Modi's ardour fan Ramdev's ashram near the Neelkanth Mahadev temple in Rishikesh in Uttarakhand where she will stay until the elections are over

Quoting Vishwa Hindu Parishad sources, the report, titled The Forgotten Half, said, "...soon after Modi acknowledged Jashodaben as his wife, Hindu activists and security professionals dressed as pilgrims arrived on her doorsteps in three white SUVs. They told her that her long-standing wish for a Char Dham yatra had come true. Sources said the group took her to Ahmedabad, where she boarded a chartered flight to Aurangabad near the Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand border, and then to Ramdev's isolated mountain-top ashram at Rishikesh. Labourers in the ashram say a lady was seen arriving in a white vehicle on April 13."

Quoting another source close to Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati, the Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth, who recently spoke out against Modi, the report added, "Jashodaben is protected by top-level security people with ties with the Gujarat security services. Perhaps, she does not even know that those with her are not pilgrims but people tasked with keeping her away from the public eye."

Even since Modi acknowledged Jashodaben as his wife after many Assembly polls where he did not make a mention of his marital status, rivals, especially the Congress, lambasted the Gujarat Chief Minister as being disrespectful to his wife.

With poll rhetoric suddenly a turn towards Modi's own house, the BJP fought back by launching a scathing personal attack on Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra. While there have been allegations of his controversial land deals in Haryana and Rajasthan, a dated picture of Vadra with top Gujarat industrialist Gautam Adani was also leaked to counter Congress allegations of a Modi-Adani nexus.

In face of Congress's attacks on Modi's mistreatment of his wife, the BJP maintained that all was hunky-dory between the two. Last month, Jashodaben's brother even stated that his 62-year-old sister would eat rice and remain barefoot till Modi is voted to power at the centre.

The latest discovery, if true, may provide the Congress and other political rivals barrels of fodder to take on the BJP's PM nominee.

Does that mean Modi's wife is being indoctrinated to carry on the Hindu version of 'Gazwa-E-Bang-Pak'? :o:

Stop trolling. This could be a real scandal in Indian politics and have an impact on the current elections.

This was in perfect relevance to your previous quote on Ramdev's call for Akhand Bharat. How do you justify it as a trolling? I accuse you of branding an honorable poster as a troll.

How do you interpret it as a "scandal"? It is his personal life, he made his choice. We need job, drinking water, proper sewage system, efficient food distribution etc. As far as he is doing a good job in office addressing these issues how would his private life bother average Indians?

This is just ridiculous. His personal life is of no business of anyone. Abhishek Manu's sanghvi's sex tape was deemed a personal matter by congress (and rightly so), or nobody asks if rahul was scre@ing his columbian girlfriend without marrying her as its his personal life too. Then why this character assassination against Modi?

I'm convinced that the giant, absolutely monstrous mafia that runs the country, right from politicians, religious power brokers, crony capitalists of the telecom and coal type, land dealers in cahoots with decision makers, senior bureaucrats, senior media persons, senior judges, dalaals of all kinds with their farmhouses in delhi - they all have some discomfort with Modi.

And I'm loving it. And I hope Swami is wrong about the EVMs. I want my revenge through the ballot. And if that revenge is brutal, that would be a bonus. For every poor person who dies on the road even after 6 decades, i want to see a fat corrupt bastard get hanged. Will that solve India's problems, probably not, but its worth a try.

Mind you I'm not saying Modi will do anything like that, all I'm saying is that hopefully he will send some dalals to jail. That will be a great start.

In my view, Congress has spent enough days in office. Their record in economic growth may be or may be not a matter of debate (the world went through a massive depression making even the Chinese booster rocket grounded) but the basic needs of people have not met satisfactory treatments. Rahul Gandhi is boasting for pulling 150 Million Indians out of poverty line. We all know how hollow and immoral that claim have been. Only their insane and corrupt minds can see a man earning above 28/- per day, above poverty line in this age of inflation.

He suddenly realizes the importance of women power only after the horrible rapes occurred under his nose. In their voting campaign a poor farmer tells the TV audience that he will vote for a party which have always safeguarded the interests of the peasantry class for the last 66 years. It is another lie. Our food distribution policy has been pathetic. Potatoes rot on streets of Punjab when people of Bengal are buying potatoes in ridiculously high price from middle man.No body talked from Congress over the priority based railway transport system to protect the vegetables. No body realized the importance of soil card to educate the farmers about the productivity of their land. These inept governance issues should be our priorities, not some stupid "personal attack" politics, at least not from a party of Singhvi, Tharoor or Natabar Singh.
