So it's not about whether something is constitutional law or not - what matters is whether the law being brought into effect is acceptable or not. If minority basic rights are not protected, then your majoritarian government has failed, regardless of how they came into power.

Tough luck. That is how our constitution is. And constitution is supreme in India whether one likes it it or not. World over all democracies are majoritarian. That is because the country is of majority. The country's ethos, culture, values come from majority.
