Beautiful cities in beautiful China.

Xinjiang also borders Pakistan.

The famous Karakoram Highway connects Pakistan's Northern Areas to China's Xinjiang.

Dear Sir,

Are these pictures of Urumqi, or Wulumuqi?

How did you select the cities whose pictures you showed us? Are these all places where you have lived? Are they all from the same part of China?

Dear Sir,

What is the very strange structure on the truck? Has it been damaged in an accident? Is that some kind of sleeping accommodation? Perhaps it is a home-made load-balancing structure? Please explain this; it is puzzling me.

the last pics show the place is chinese Muslim city, Wulumuqi( you call it Urumqi),its the border of pakistan and Afghanistan, nowdays,it is not only a traditonal Muslim city and also a mordern city. those west part of china were once the poverty area compare with the east of china. but now only the Wulumuqi ,but most of the west china is growing rapidly than the east china after the Chinese policy"Development of the West Regions"
I live in nanjing city ,those pics are difference citys in china, not a same place. those city i show is just the second-class city in china ,do you want more see more pics of chinese city? i can upload more, anyway you would better come ,visit and experience a real china if possible . thanks

Dear Sir,

I am very sorry that somehow I missed your kind reply. Yes, these are beautiful pictures; perhaps, as you suggest, some day it will be my good fortune to see them myself, with my wife; she is very keen to see China and has suggested many times that we should go. Some day, soon.

I am personally very keen to see Southern China, basically 'Panda' forests and the highlands. But China is so large, no doubt there are beautiful aspects in every part.

Having said that, I must confess I have not fully explored my own country. Every new trip brings new vistas, new delights; life is short and there is so much beauty in the world.

I hope that some day you too will get an opportunity to travel to whichever part of the world you still have to see and wish to see. Unless, of course, you have seen everything!!

Regards,

'Joe S.'
