NAMMA METRO!

He busy pushing sunanda Pushkar. Also he is now more into literary fest as seen from his twitter account..
He lives nearby ......................maybe we would see some initiative after the government changes to congress in the next assembly elections..coz any such move will be a credit to the left government and sadly thats how politics work here...

Yes, once the govt. changes, we can see the action..

Between, the biggest action play ground will be our constituency,

Rumor is Padmaja Vs Kalabhavan Mani.

Let us start with Kochi Metro, then it can be connected till Trissur and till Kottayam, with connection to regular rail system..

We should 'extend' it always, otherwise people will not agree to give their land etc. Once they see Kochi Metro, then there will be public support to extend to their areas.

I saw an interview with Sridharan one week ago regarding the Kochi metro plan i manorama news.

And about our current govt. Even BJP was invited to China for talks, but not our red brothers...even Chinese knows who are gonna in power after the state elections... he he he

Anyway its better to have a seperate one for the high speed ones which only connect the major towns.. the one existing should be an affordable one for the common ones with accessibility to all smaller stations..

And there was even a talk on mountain highway wih connecting all hill stations in ghats.. but nothing substantial has been heard on that one too.. the government is good at making plans only , it seems.

You wont believe there is a mono rail from Sholayar forest to Cky town which was built by the Brits only to deliver the woods. They just needed to pack the woods in wagon and send it, it automatically reach cky town coz of slop. and it is more than 50 -70 Kms long. if we kept the route till now, it would have been a serious tourist attraction, (travelling thru the thick jungle)

A similar one which is british built is also there in Punalur-Sengottai route passing through one of the most scenic locales.. Recently it was converted into Broadguage from meterguage.. the last trip on the train was a quite dramtic one for the local people and was well covered in local newspapers.

Amazing, it should have been meterguage and not to change. We have lots of tourist areas which yet to be exploited.

Mate, do u know why? The Chinese understood that if they call "our red brothers" to china they will demand 'nokku kooli', or "wages for (just) looking on". Why should the Chinese take risk by inviting our "red brothers":chilli:.
