Naming the Jinnah Class

Naming the ships in the Ships of the Jinnah class after influential Muslim leaders of the 20th century would be interesting

so the ships would be
1. PNS Jinnah ( Founder of Pakistan)
2. PNS Attaturk (Founder of Turkey)
3. PNS Iqbal ( Spritual Father of Pakistan)
4. PNS Izetbegovic (First President of Bosnia and Islamic philosopher )
5. PNS Khan (Named after Liaqat Ali Khan, Pakistan’s first PM)
6. PNS Nasser (Liberated Egypt from Anglo-French Rule)

Some entries might be controversial, but please do share what you all think.

Never.
Attaturk might be a hero for turks since he freed turkey and founded their state but don’t forget Attaturks anti Islam policies. He might be good for Turkish people and their hero but he’s no a hero in the Muslim world instead he’s one of the most hated in Muslim world.
Since we want to name one after Turkish who contributed to Islam let’s name one after Osman ghazi? Or Fateh Mehmet?

Nasser??? The guy who was in love with India and asked one of their delegations “we were expecting you to take over Lahore in a few hours, what happened”. Nasser was perhaps good for his country, but he was no friend of Pakistan.

Why not names of our lands. PNS Kalat, PNS Potohar, PNS Deosai, PNS Harapa, PNS Baltoro. Bring the lands together and enshrine these lands as ours. I would just for kicks call one PNS Kashmir or even PNS Srinagar. That last one would give us some comic relief off Indian channels for days to come.

I don’t think it’s appropriate to name a warship after a person who spent his entire life providing aid to the needy.

Never knew this, I originally was going to name the last ship PNS Pahlavi, but that would offend Iran.
