NaMaloom Afrad kill 2 at PML-N rally in Karachi

NaMaloom Afrad have celebrated 12th May in style by shooting at a PML-N rally in Karachi, killing two people. Reportedly this happened close to TeenTalwar. The rally apparently was on its way to TeenTalwar to support the Dharna started by PTI. The said Dharna had become a multi-party affair when JI and PPP joined it.

NaMaloom Afrad killed around 40 people on 12th May 2007 when CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry visited Karachi. CJP arrived at Karachi airport and due to security situation went back to Islamabad after a few hours. Musharraf gloated about the killings as a show of power in his support at his Islamabad Rent-A-Rally, later that evening.

Everyone knows who these NaMaloom Afrad are and to which party they belong. But TV channels have never had the courage to point to MQM as the mother of these illegitimate operators.

Today's bloody celebration had an extra spice; the speech by the self-exiled Altaf Hussain. He sounded very much like a threatened man. Poor him; he finds himself out of power after so many years and can not cope. Thus he resorts to threats and his minions execute a couple of innocents just to make a point and remind the rest of Pakistanis that what happened on 12th May 2007 can happen again. BIG Mistake!

I think I should change the thread name to "Multi-party protest Dharna led by PTI at Teen Talwar against rigging in Karachi". In the past few minutes I have learned that the Dharna comprises of 10 parties now. The latest entrants include Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen and Tahirul Qadri's Awami Tehreek.

That is local to Lahore and not supported by masses. It is mostly upset DHA people. But with Hamid Ali losing by around 30000 votes, protest over rigging is not the smartest thing to do. PML-N are masters are manipulating election process. About time PTI learns these tricks. The Lalik Chowk protest will probably peter out in a day or so. Teen talwar's protest is not jst abt one person rigging and winning... its abt how MQM has been controlling and violating karachi for decades now. tht protest is of mch mch more importance therefore subjected to many threats and dangers. God keep them all safe!
