Nafakhum : Is this the most beautiful waterfall in South Asia?

If big is beautiful then Bangladesh also have big waterfalls. These are common but picturesque like above I posted is rare in South Asia.

Hey man, there is no comparison with Yog falls its really huge. You cannot compare with water falls in Himalaya and western ghats with waterfalls in BD. I am not saying they are not beautiful, they are gorgeous but there are 100s like them in India itself.

.
Waterfalls like those are very common and dotted throughout Northern Pakistan and Punjab... I don't see the big deal. You can find much larger and spectacular waterfalls...

Small ones like those can be found everywhere.

Here are some random waterfalls in Pakistan.

Bangladesh is a small country. Considering its size the natural scenic beauty is mind blowing.

We also have a similar but more beautiful waterfall in Sylhet.

Nafakhum is a heavenly beautiful tourist destination of Bangladesh. Its so beautiful. Who says Bangladesh doesn't have much to offer for tourists. :welcome:

Nice one mate.. It is indeed quite picturesque, And it's one of more than many other attractions in Bangladesh to woo in tourists

But one friendly advise though, I'd refrain from making statements like "Probably" The best or most Beautiful or the biggest or the most stunning, Because making such lofty statements just brings about posters belittling each other, Everyone here thinks their homeland is the best, Beauty in the the eye of the beholder somewhat.. The thing is mate, Even South Asia is a vast region with so many different topographies, Natural and man made wonders in abundance.. India is a humongous country with so many climatic and geographical zones, So you can imagine the number of stunning natural wonders they have, Pakistan with it's mountains and valleys are stunning and as a alpine nation along with the other Himalayan nations of Bhutan and Nepal have some of the most stunning mountainscapes which includes many stunning waterfalls, Sri Lanka in it's own right claim several famous water falls given it's tropical and sub tropical landscape, It's a very wet place as you can imagine.. Would love to visit Bangladesh some time and visit all these places, But i'd stay away from making general statements just to make another thread a dick measuring contest.. :-)

Cheers

Btw a few of the more more famous waterfalls from my homeland Sri Lanka, There are hundreds

It's a small fall, High up in the Horton Plains national park, You can actually walk right up to it, No chance of bathing though, Those waters can freeze you to death.. :-)

Another famous cascading water fall, the Ravana Falls.. Significant part of the mythical Ramayana Trail, Sita after being abducted was said to be hidden within the falls.. Major attraction for Indian tourists
