It was just a simple case of invoking the sanctity of executive authority and no judge could decide against constitutional power given to the executive even when there wasn't any precedent set in place in the first instance

At least by now, Imran Khan needs to stop taking support of establishment for granted and remember that another -only not as friendly- establishment robbed PTI of twice as many seats it ended up getting in 2013 election not too long ago.

I think all these things and suggestions above are easy to say then being done. Bringing up 10,000 cases of criminals demanding bail on similar grounds and not objecting will be declared as gimmicks by same people and status quo etc touts sitting in media.

Also executive don't have total prerogative imo, in matter of ECL everyone has tried to put on them, but as per my understanding, the procedure is govt. acts on NAB advice. It puts name in ECL on NAB's request and taking out also has to be based on that. Yes they could make own decision, but then would be accused of having bias or vendetta or not following prcedure.

There is one ex NAB lawyer, pretty good one who often comes on TV or Arshad Sharif program, who said that NAB could have opposed and principally they should have but they instead said we are okay to let him out but govt. ensure to have some guarantee or surety for it. The Govt/cabinet then made/had to make a decision on basis of that.

Also the way LHC is acting, it possible that they totally strike down govt. condition and just let NS go out. So, i guess Govt, is in situation of "bhagte chor ki langhote hi sahi" mindset. Already thanks to media investment, a certain mind has been made in public & circles about "seriousness" of NS health.

So, latest is court gives decision to let NS go, despite objections of Fed. Govt on draft of court. In short the court takes it totally on itself. Court giving order to follow is different than a draft being agreed upon by both parties in court.
