Ideally online would be best, some country did manage an online election recently. Even postal ballot would be convenient.

How will this work practically, I’m overseas right now, will I be able to vote in any constituency of my choice?

Pakistan doesn't have proportional representation system so counting overseas vote correctly won't be an easy task

Overseas Pakistanis will vote through online voting. They only need their national id card / nicop cards for voting. Only thing tricky here is how constituencies are assigned for overseas Pakistanis.

Overseas people just keep in mind how awful IT infrastructure of our government is, how much they still work with paper, and how much they generally lack proficiency.

Let’s see what they work up as a usable system. It sounds way easier than it will be to put in practise I suspect.
