NA passes bill to revive military courts for two years

Please know the difference between the rights of citizens within their own country and those of non-uniform undeclared combatants captured on a battlefield in another country. It will help your cough.

Stop playing with words and defending the un-defendable.

When Banana Republic of USA decides to do something, they just do it, giving tiny rat's arse to what the world thnks or what are human rights, democracy, freedom of speech, rule of law, etc.

I still remember how with a very serious face, John Kerry was giving lectures to the foreign minister of Russia, "in 21st century just don't invade another country on false pretext" etc. I mean... WOW!

So lecture about human rights, rule of law etc to your adopted country, the Banana Republic of USA and leave us alone. We'll do what is best to secure Pakistan and get rid of terrorism.

.

Of course Pakistan has the right to do what it think is best for it. How do you think it ended up needing such military courts in the first place? Past decisions, obviously.

How could Al-Qaeda be formed and terrorism in the world sky-rocket?

Past decisions obviously!

Time to move on and do what is best under the circumstances. Instead of giving lectures and only criticizing, people should practice what they preach. Especially the ones from Banana Republic of USA.

But how to establishing military courts help improve the judicial system in Pakistan? If the courts are not working, the correct step would be to invest in their improvement so that they are effective, not in establishing a temporary bypass. The real problem still remains.

We can not wait till the courts "start working".

The system is improving and it will take time. In the meantime we need to get rid of all those terrorists. Military courts are doing a great job!

Now leave us alone and worry about not being allowed to come back to Banana Republic of USA, once traveled abroad.

But that was what happened the first time such courts were established. Now we are back at the same spot again, without much having changed, despite tall claims. How is it going to end up any differently this time around?

You don't see improvement, because you don't want to see it in your blind hatred for Pakistan. We have enough Hussain Haqqanis, Asma Jahangirs, Tarek Fatehs, Marvi Sirmids, Professor Hudhuds telling us how everything that we do is wrong. Yes we have more than enough of them to always put down Pakistan.

So stop "worrying" about Pakistan and worry about you being denied to come back to USA, even though you "might" be a legal resident there.

Complain about tall claims of human rights, rule of law, democracy etc in your adopted country, leave us alone.

Now, back to the topic, I have said many times that military campaigns have indeed produced a reduction in terrorist attacks, but it is also important to realize that the military simply cannot deliver the complete solution that is needed. Military courts will do nothing to rectify the very real and fundamental issues that contribute to the problems facing Pakistan, including terrorism.

Well if you would read our messages, instead of picking up few selective lines you would know what we are saying here. Let me spell it out one more time:

Judiciary is improving, a good thing but it will still take time.
In the meantime we need to get rid of terrorists and there MC are doing a great job.

Summary: Both things can run in parallel for foreseeable future. It is working!

I was serious when I was telling you to worry more about being denied entry to USA after you travel abroad. This is actually happening, not just theories.

I am sure we will be discussing the results, or lack thereof, in due course, of this present bout of military courts. I can wait. The previous results support my position more than yours. May be this time it will be better.

We don't need approvals or certificates from anyone. Whether "you can wait" or not is completely irrelevant.

I agree with you that only actual results matter. May be Military Courts 2.0 will deliver them demonstrably better compared to the results of 1.0.

We don't see you blaming PPP and PMLN for past 9 years failing to fix the judicial system ..... who has stopped them? 9 years is too short a time, right?

Eventually, you will blame Army for it all.

You won't see him blaming or complaining about Banana Republic of USA as well.

But that's ok, you should keep your expectations low when talking to all of those Tarek Fatehs, Asama Janahgirs, Hussain Haqqanis. It would be fatal to bite the hand that feeds you...

.
ALL those who destroyed the rule of law in Pakistan for their own gains are to blame for the presently nonfunctional judicial system, which took decades to deteriorate to this point.
