This is something many leaders overlook. If any project is actually helping common people daily, if a party derides this, people will start getting suspicious. A Metro Bus may have cost more to govt, but if it helps people daily while cutting their ticket expense no one can convince them that its bad for country. People tend to overlook corruption in a project if it gives them some comfort.
PTI needs to change its course and instead of deriding successful projects, it should work harder to force govt on backfoot. A Metro project or, an expressway will never be a weak point for any ruling dispensation.
Absolutely, PTI or infact any party which goes after successful developments projects just because its made by opposition party and make fun of it, is not doing any favours for the local voters. In the same breath, Nandipur failed project by PMLN, Sugar Mills by PMLN, Ghost Danish Schools, PMLN leaders had no money and look how they made money, this is clear cut corrupt money...this has to be exposed, PTI needs to be careful and do cost-benefit analysis on which projects though corrupt, are they really benefiting the masses or not?
Once PTI in power, then can destroy PMLN and bring back all the looted money. Donot make all local masses against yourself, when the same schemes are giving some sort of relief to the people. Go after the big failed corrupt, fishes.
PTI will come to power, if does its homework carefully rather than blanket rejecting everything the opposition parties does.
