Question to our resident constitutional and democratic freedom experts:

Freedom of speech still in our constitution? Can we not raise a slogan like ‘go nawaz go’ against a PMLN MNA/MPA? Under what law Pakistani people are being threatened with assault? Is there now a blasphemy law for PMLN and Nawaz Sharif?

Heckling is OK. That is par for the course for politicians. But I am not sure freedom of speech includes maan behan ki galiyaan, which seems to be a problem on grounds of ghairat. You know how ghairat is supposed to be a defining feature of our society. PTI certainly does more than pay lip service to it, until a U-turn or something comes....

About the subject? Criminal case should be filed on not just the guards but also their masters upon whose instigation they acted. We can not & will not condone hooliganism in the streets. That is hallmark of people with certain well-known political inclinations.
