These are court proceedings and observation these are not verdicts. Once he filed the appeal this right can not be taken away, even if the appeal is time barred SC can grant a leave to appeal.

Nope, you are confusing two things. You can run away from court and not appear in hearing in than still you are declared an absconder, but you are not a convict. Once there is a conviction against you and than you run away basically from prison as your bail expired and declared an absconder than you can not appeal against that verdict.

Musharraf is not a convict. There is no verdict against him. He is at most an absconder.

Once there is a conviction against you and than you run away basically from prison as your bail expired and declared an absconder than you can not appeal against that verdict.

Musharraf is not a convict. There is no verdict against him. He is at most an absconder.
