If that is your qualifier for comparison with Nazis then most governments in the islamic world can be considered Nazis.
you are too soft on defending your country. I have been to manymar many times and I fully understand your people's view on this issue.

My qualifier for fascism is the systematic denial of rights to citizens on the basis of race, religion , language , political views or sexuality.

No doubt many countries would fall foul of such barometers including perhaps every Muslim majority country , but such relativism does not diminish what is happening in burma.

You are carrying out systematic genocide of Muslims and every one of your state, political and social institutions are actively participating in it. Prove me wrong, I would gladly be proved wrong in this because in this century such behaviour is simply unimaginable.

by your account west should be the role model and paradise for muslims cause they invent, preach and are proud of such concept, then why you muslims hate west so much, especially toward the beakon of human rights US?

Muslims hating the west is a returded assumption on your part. There are many things Muslims can learn from the west and actively do.

I do not speak for every Muslim just myself..., the Muslim grievances stem from the double standards applied by the west when dealing with Muslim countries, evidential hipocracy in terms of maintaining human rights eg Abu ghareb and last but most importantly meddling and propping by anti democratic forces like Sisi of Egypt.

Don't believe propaganda, read, understand and see all the shades of grey that makes up the world

wow, what a convenient explaination. so all those jihad and 911 are just minor incident and generally west are the best buddies of muslim?

since you mentioned the anti democratic forces like Sisi of Egypt, could you enlighten me how many of all muslim countries is pro democratic? and how do you explain that?

Suu Kyi returned to Burma from abroad in 1988, amidst the slaughter of protesters rallying against U Ne Win and his iron-fisted rule. She began speaking out against him, with democracy and human rights at the fore of her struggle.

So, basically what you are saying is don't call her on it because she changed her mind, about what constitutes as human rights? If she came to power has Humans rights advocate, and all this is happening under her watch, then she is a bloody hypocrite and a power hungry moron!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
have you been to Burma and seen what's happening or have you come to the conclusion reading online.

I am not sure my explanation is a convinient one. I did not say the west and the muslims are best buddies nor do I see them as eternal enemies.

There are myriad of examples of cooperation as there are examples of strife. Muslims are not a monolithic block all acting in concert.

911 is a reaction to events that have preceded it as are the jihads. You can not postulate hypothesis without understanding the whole sequence of events.

In terms of democracy it is my hope that all muslims countries would move towards democracy. Many muslim countries are in the process of bedding in democracy. These are not perfect and there are hiccups but slowly but surely participatory democracy is taking root in the muslim world. They do not replicate exactly the western model but I do not see that as a problem. Some muslims countries that are transforming and solidifing democratic modalities would be Turkey, indonesia, malaysia, bangladesh, pakistan, nigeria to name a few. Iran which is a theocratic country also choose their leaders though voting. Even the bastion of theocracy saudi arabia is slowly introducing limited form of voting.

In terms of Sisi even that despot sought to legitimise his dictatorship through a sham election as did asad of syria.

My point is democracy is the only logical method of governance as it enfranchises all the citizens of a nation.

Muslims do not hate democracy. It is a very convinient propaganda by certain section of the western press which act as a cover for neo-colonial meddling in muslim countries to exploit natural resources by propping up local dictators. Look up Mossadeq who was a democratically elected leader of Iran who was removed by US/UK as he nationalised oil industry in Iran and installed the Shah and the subsequent events that followed. Many a dictator has been forced upon muslim states by US... look up how Suharto was supported by US into killing some claims up to a million indonasian in the 60s. I can give many such examples.

I reiterate Muslims do not hate democracy, they hate neo-colonial meddling and this is no different to non muslim africa or latin america which has also suffered similar meddling.
