To the Pakistani brothers who are happy that India is lying, here is the news from MyanmarTimes

The Indian military said in a statement that two separate groups of insurgents had been engaged along the Indo-Myanmar border at two separate locations on June 9.

The attack was both a pre-emptive and retributive strike, coming in the wake of a June 4 ambush in Chandel, Manipur, that saw 18 members of the Indian military killed.

It was claimed that Myanmar-based Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K), as well as Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) and a faction of the Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) were responsible for the attack. The latter are both outlawed insurgent groups from Manipur.

Indian military statements did not give specific details on the attack but military sources cited in Indian media outlets reported that the operation was carried out with an Air Force Mi-17 helicopter and 21 Para, an elite unit, and resulted in the deaths of 15 rebel soldiers.

Deputy chief of mission at the Indian embassy in Yangon Sailas Thangal confirmed that the Indian army carried out strikes at two locations along the India-Myanmar border after receiving “credible and specific intelligence” that the group that had attacked the Indian army on the June 4 in Chandel, Manipur, was planning further attacks.

Myanmar denies India killed rebels inside its territory

Earlier this week New Delhi said its forces had hunted down a rebel group operating in the mountainous forests of Manipur state, close to Myanmar's long western border.

YANGON: Myanmar on Wednesday (Jun 10) denied media reports that Indian forces had attacked insurgents inside its territory and said it would not tolerate rebel groups using its soil to attack neighbours.

Earlier this week New Delhi said its forces had hunted down a rebel group operating in the mountainous forests of Manipur state, close to Myanmar's long western border.

The fighters were allegedly involved in the killing of 20 Indian soldiers in an ambush last week.

The Indian press cited sources as saying soldiers had crossed into Myanmar and killed some 15 militants who escaped across the border, after coordination between the two countries.

But New Delhi insisted the operation took place on its side of the border only.:azn:

In a Facebook post Wednesday Zaw Htay, director of Myanmar's presidential office, backed up that assertion.

"According to the information sent by Tatmadaw (Myanmar army) battalions on the ground, we have learned that the military operation was performed on the Indian side at India-Myanmar border," he said.

"Myanmar will not accept any foreigner who attacks neighbouring countries in the back and creates problems by using our own territory," he added.

The remote Hindu-majority state of Manipur is home to dozens of tribal groups and small guerrilla armies fighting New Delhi's rule. Their demands range from secession to greater autonomy.

Much of the border region with Myanmar is porous and the central government's authority there is weak.

Myanmar itself is plagued by multiple insurgencies in its border regions.

In recent months relations with Beijing have cooled as an ethnic insurgency raging in Myanmar spilt over its border with China.

In March a Myanmar warplane dropped a bomb in a sugarcane field, killing five Chinese people and injuring eight others and infuriating Beijing.

You want to throw joke at WSJ?

Indian Army Attacks Militant Camps in Myanmar - WSJ

Zaw Htay, director of the office of Myanmar President Thein Sein, confirmed Wednesday that Indian troops had entered his country. He said that there was “coordination and cooperation” between the Indian troops and Myanmar’s armed forces based in the area of the raids, but added that no Myanmar soldiers were directly involved.

“We will never allow or support insurgents, whether [they are] against Myanmar or against our neighboring countries,” Mr. Zaw Htay added.

What's so grand about the WSJ?

ONLY the utterly brainwashed would believe everything that the WSJ prints。

Some silly media fall for unsubstantiated news and some poor, desperate Pakistanis and one despo Chinese here jump. Andhra Mirchi indeed. :chilli:

To the Pakistani Brother, have we accepted that we give permission for drone strikes, even though explicit permission has been given and drone strikes especially against AQ targets have in many instances joint collaboration. Raid in Abbottabad happened with our knowledge and permission, but do we accept so to this day.

So with our experience of not acknowledging such things, why do you expect the Burmese to do so.

I REALLY GOT A HOPE BECAUSE OF YOU GUYS ONE DAY PAKISTAN AND INDIA WILL GO TOGETHER,
because all the time just denying the reality is most dangerous ignorance , and always ignorance rules the world.......

.
Is there a way when all the chest thumping can be taken back while indian get to keep all their dignity . This is just embarrassing and there a minister was threatening Pakistan.

.
Let them deny...we have done what we wanted....

Tomorrow when India will do the similar action in Pakistan...guess what...Pakistan will also deny...:D

Cmon gullible Pakistanis, a joint op where a foreign army takes lead is denied by the host country! This is very very simple.

And India never said we went 'inside' Myanmar, it was only the news which based it on sources.

I agree on the drones part, but

You say Abbottabad happened with your permission then why USA denied your involvement?
