My Visit to Kennedy Space Center Museum

This week I went to Kennedy Space Center Museum in Titusville FL, and man oh man what a experience I loved it so much I wish i had more time to soak all of it.

Visited the Cape for work back in 2007 and saw the shuttle on the launch pad up close, was definitely a surreal experience.

1976 was the last time I was there. So after the SaturnV launches had stopped (1975) and before the Space Shuttle (1981).

I realized that you can schedule your visit with some launch, that would be once in a life time experience but just the museum and learning about the space program was indeed awesome, worth every penny.

Do they still drive you around in a tour bus past places like the big Vehicle Assembly Building? Plus walking tours in buildings where all the controls are behind plexiglass?

They have the bus tour for sure, i took it. We do get in many buildings but I think the controls were not the real ones, except for the one for moon landing, we are told during the presentation that they control panels we are seeing are all originals.

This one... Not gonna lie, we were just sitting there watching a presentation but I can feel the nervousness myself, with the launch sequence and the live footage from various angles right before the launch etc.

Yes. My favorite thing was to admire the meticulous parts of the Saturn V and the Space Shuttle up close. Engineering art!

Moon landing presentation was my favorite part, the atmosphere and lightening and everything was so cool.

Yep definitely saw a crawler, and that thing is massive. I mean everything look so massive up close lol
