My vision for JFT Block 3

Not necessarily a dedicated platform, there are so many multi-role "Deltas". Design is said be easier in construction besides being low cast. There are certain add-on in terms of performance. I believe we can go beyond JFT's limitations in terms of payload, speed and range, considering the experiences of our peers.

Canardless delta suffers in sustained turns. I have previously broached the idea of enhancing existing mirages with RD-93, adding KLJ-7V2, and all the weapons of Thunder to create a hi-low combination. But that is because we already have the full MRO in place for the airframes. If it can be one cost-effectively, it should at least cut down on the aerodynamic testing.

Mirages constitute a legacy of over half a century for PAF. On a separate note, if we really have the guts to pursue project like 'Azm" things should have gone beyond ROSE projects for Mirages.

The Mirage airframe would accomplish pretty much what you posted in the second pic. Since we have complete MRO, we should be able to enhance it with modern materials.

We didn't have the capability before, but hopefully AvDIR will create this capability in the future.
