true, true. i remember id say the same back when there were almost daily bombings in Pakistan and next day ministers and influentials would show up with their 'monetary compensation' along with free photoshoot for publicity.

"If you dont want to be lynched then go to Pakistan"

Correct. Politicians cannot abdicate their possibility towards the citizens they represent by hiding behind such gestures. They need to implement and take institutionalized actions so that such incidents do not repeat.
