What's new

My pind lookin like Karanchi

Buy a cat.

It is near cholistan. And Punjab gormint doesn’t spend any money on us. That’s why we hate Lahoris and want to murder them on sight. South Punjab used to be richest province in all of Pakistan and now we are living like beggars because these central and northern punjabis steal all of our money. So good luck with trying to implement ground water replenishment technologies.

Quaid-e-Azam solar park is 10 minutes away from our village and all the electricity it generates get redirected to lahore and central Punjab while we sit in the dark. Only now that DHA started to get built, Faujis took pity on our village and don’t cut off electricity and gas.

But with faujis, nothing comes free. It’s not as much a goodwill gesture as much as it is a statement that they will be annexing our lands in the near future.

As a Multani, the disparity with Lahore saddens me. I can’t imagine the feeling you are going through in your pind on the edge of the Cholistan desert, especially with the Solar park only 10 minutes away.

I really hope they extend services and irrigation canals out to the Cholistan desert. The land can be made fertile again as an ancient river use to run through it. I think it was called by some the Sarasvati River. Across the border the Indians have turned their side of the Cholistan desert into arable land, so I hope you are able to hold onto your land (if you don’t want to sell), because if water is managed correctly, your land could be nearly as fertile as the rest of Punjab in a few decades.

Those pinds must be somewhere in California. Pakistani pinds are like the ones presented in op.
Nah mate, good chunk of villages I have seen have sewerage system , sometimes government did it or remitance money, where villages spent Thier own money to build some sorta sewerage system (rudimentary stuff)

Greater thal canal was supposed to be built, all provinces had an agreement to build canals first was KP, Sindh, Balochistan, last Punjab

But when it was punjabs turn PPP started Thier Randi Rona of how this canal would effect water resources of Sindh (eventhough GOS signed this agreement) - now project is stuck afaik

This is something a future Imran Khan led government, Inshallah, should re-activate.

All of you guys talking shit about my village, but I’ve seen villages in central Punjab and they are tootay puhttay, dirty and ugly. My pind is one the most naturally beautiful villages in Pakistan. I will ask my cousin to send more pics so you guys can see.

A good kukkar can literally scare off a cat. But I'm not a pet person.

Damn takhte lahore be usurping all our moneys. Insha'Allah we get our province soon.
South Punjab province or some other way of dividing up Punjab to more equitably distribute funds has to get implemented in the next PTI government, Inshallah.

Your village is just underdeveloped, and most of us don’t want to have to live without the amenities we have grown accustomed to living with. Btw, I really hope they develop Fort Monru. So South Punjab can have its own decent hill station, for the hot summer months.

That was the reason PTI won 2018 in South Punjab.
I hope they actually get something done, in that regard, this time.

Name it South punjab or bhawalpur, as long as they don't pull saraikistan BS(dream of anti Punjab, ethno nats forces) , I don't care
Do an administrative division not a psuedo ethnic one, this won't be accepted

Agreed. I don’t care for ethnicity based divisions either. It’s a slippery slope. The lose of half the country in 1971 should have taught us all, to be weary of it. Better to name it either geographically; North/South or based on the largest cities in the area.

South Punjab has the richest soil in all of Punjab. Mitti’cho khushbo aundi’aa. It’s the only soil I’ve smelt on earth that has a fragrance. The only problem is that we lack water because of those bharatoads blocking sutlej river.

We are counting on our mard e momin Mujahid Pakistan Army to get the water released from the Indians. We’ve been waiting over 50 years already so any day now.

The further u move away from Lahore the worse it gets. Even in the vicinity of Lahore, it's bad.

Press X to doubt.

ae khyal amrika ch ba k hi ande hin, tu wapis ta aa garmi teda dimagh durust karesi

I’ve lived in the village most of my life. The heat doesn’t bother me too much as long as it’s not humid. But if one of these northern Pakistanis ever came during summer they might have a seizure..
