My experience with Arnab Goswami

I spoke to an ex-employee of NDTV from where Arnab graduated - he earned his spurs there. He is pretty much hated by the entire English media because Indian English-language journalism has always based itself on the BBC - he has combined the sensationalism of Hindi news channels with the bias of Fox News for his TRPs. He is not even based in Delhi where all the networks are based - he operates out of a studio in Bombay in Lower Parel - hardly the political capital of India. And yes, he pays the Pakistani "guests" on his show to come and get abused, insulted and shout at the top of their voice. It is not news, it is theater. Yesterday he was showing the Pakistani guests the surrender of Niazi at Dacca and telling them - "Remember this - we will do this again". How the f.. is that news is beyond me.

Only thing i don't like is when he brings Tarek Fatah onto his show, all he does is hurl insults at Pakistani guests and Arnab does nothing to stop it, so the 'debate' just turns into an overweight retard shouting at anyone who tries to speak about Pakistan.

If this was an actual show worth anything, then the moderator would be fair and unbiased, and promote discussion, but also know how/when to control his guests, Tarek Fatah is not an expert on Pakistan, he doesn't get invited to other panels or discussions, why is he on the show? he's literally a guy living in Canada whos obsessed with hating on Muslims, and Pakistan. It would be better if they get someone like Hussain Haqqani, who has issues with Pakistan but is not overly dramatic and childish, and who is someone who is actually relevant to Pakistan.

This might sound like a very specific issue, but the one episode i watched of his show Tarek Fatah was just shouting at some Pakistani anchor about Pakistan, every time the guy tried to respond or speak Tarek would just cut in with a personal insult or rude comment, halfway through the 'argument' they added another windows next to the previous two of some Indian guy just sitting there laughing while Tarek just threw out silly insults. That just shows that there's clearly no journalistic integrity, and I haven't watched the show since.

He is the most unbiased journalist in Indian media, most Indians praise him for it. Though he is hated by Lutyens' mafia gang and likes.

That's pretty much how he does all his shows. Pakistanis/Pakistan is the target in those shows that have them but there are almost no one who is not a target. He doesn't do journalism like some others do, pretending to be unbiased & laid back. Instead he picks a side & goes after everyone opposed. People watch Arnab Goswami to be entertained, many people enjoy him humiliating politicians & other people who otherwise seem (in the opinion of the ordinary guy) to be above the law. Arnab Goswami is seen as sort of the guy who is in your corner, the little guy's corner & taking on the high & the mighty, something that most ordinary people yearn to do but can't. The fact that he has become the highest paid television journalist while doing that is not something that bothers anyone. The guy is smart, plenty smart, the manufactured anger at prime time not withstanding.

I am a regular watcher of Arnab Goswami program. I watched many debates between Arnab Goswami with Sultan M Hali . Sorry to say but Sultan M Hali never talked logic. Even once in a program, Sultan M Hali could not take the heat from Arnab and called Arnab bastard live on TV. Now that shows who won the argument.

Obviously Sultan did, because Arnab is a gandu.

No one is stopping you from watching it and believing it is news. Also, amusing to see the confusion between politicians and journalists. If you had an iota of sense, you would know that journalists don't do theater. Arnab actually has CGI flames on his channel. Now don't you have to go around looking for beef?
