Haa.. again the line of attack is poors/poverty/hunger in India. You guys are simply fond of it. Ain\\\'t it? Yes we have poor and we are doing our best to help them out. Only fools will think that things will change overnight if we stop spending on defence and put all money on poverty reduction.
BTW.. In the last 15 years, India has pulled more people out of poverty than in the previous 45 roughly 10 million people per year on average in the last decade. The country has visibly prospered, and, despite population growth, per capita income has grown faster, and to a greater level, than ever before.

From wiki
India currently adds 40 million people to its middle class every year.[citation needed] Analysts such as the founder of \\\"Forecasting International\\\", Marvin J. Cetron writes that an estimated 300 million Indians now belong to the middle class; one-third of them have emerged from poverty in the last ten years. At the current rate of growth, a majority of Indians will be middle-class by 2025. Literacy rates have risen from 52 percent to 65 percent in the same period.
Now what else do you guys expect us to do? We are doing our best but since the number is high it will take us some time. Is it hard for you guys to understand?
For god sake stop thinking about poor class in India think about your flood victims and your poor. You are not lot better than India after all..
