Yet, unlike regular stories of Pakistani hindus wanting to migrate to India and pressurizing Indian govt to grant them citizenship, the cases of Indian Muslims wanting to migrate to Pakistan and demanding citizenship there are few and far in between. Wonder despite this so called discrimination in India, what in Pakistan prevents Indian Muslims to even think to immigrating there. My money would be fear for their lives if they are Shias or Ahmadia.. or still fear for their lives any way .

india is a billion+ country, twice the size of europe, and the kind and scale of violence that happens in india is insignificant. most of pak members might use gujrat 2002 as an example for the violence in india, but i say that pak witness such violence on daily bases.

Almost 3000 ppl died in gujrat .. It was a riot .. Not a terrorist attack ... There was Orissa .. Even just a few months back muzafarnagar .. Atleast here mobs aren't killing each others in the thousands or hundreds? Atleast here there is no state sanctioned and institutionalised discrimination ? Also terrorist attacks with riots n killings bred out I communal hatred ... Not much if a comparison mate... We lost thousands in a brutal war we are fighting since a decade and a half! What's your excuse? A secular country where it's citizens are butchering and raping eachother in the thousands and living in ghettos coz they can't even get a house in Hindu neighbourhood ?

There is nothing "thuggish" about a sit in protest asking for a corrupt politician to resign and register murder cases against them... If people are standing up demanding their god given and constitutional rights... That shouldn't be an indian concern? That will not doom a country of 180 million people!

Anyway, in Muzzafarnagar, about 65 people were killed. Which is nothing if compared to regular slaughter of Shia and other minorities in Pakistan where a single targeted blast takes out 100's of them. So heed the advice about folks in Glass houses should change clothes in dark, and move on.
