Majority indian muslims live in three of the poorest states in India, UP, Bihar and West Bengal and all the educated and rich from these states left for Pakistan in 1947 leaving them at the mercy of illiterate mullahs who still have an iron hold on them. To make matters worse they also have the highest birth rate. If these simple socio economic causes are difficult to understand for some people, its hardly anyone's fault. Its not as if those who left in 1947 achieved great feats, they are under mullah grip even today while their elite have now even left those countries
