He very well knew that the law prohibits buying/selling cows for slaughter, yet he went ahead. Isn't it stupidity on his part?

Modi won a landslide victory in the elections, not for his political ideology, but on the platform o good governance. And he had excellent, unsurpassed credentials to boot!
