Southwest should have published some info about what is acceptable bahavior and what is not. They should do it for Muslims, Gays, and fat folks. Seems like these folks frequently get ejected !!! This way a Muslim would know what is expected of him or her. Maybe this woman next time will learn to say 'I need to go now' in a non-threating way so the crews wouldn't sh!t in their pants !!

Better still, the majority of Islamic population should make an effort to prevent a few extremists from Hijacking the Islamic ideology and terminology to dress up acts of violence and terrorism. Attack the problem.. Not the symptom

Nah the issue is Muslims are not being good Muslims, they need to be trained properly. One pesky Muslim woman inconvenienced all the other passengrers. Shame on her.

Actually read your ticket i think you will find most airlies do have the right to refuse you passage, seeing there are probably 40 lawyers writting the small print they probably dont have to give you a reason, its their aircraft.

Wrong, if any such clause is against the Law of the land i.e which refuses the right of a citizen-then they have to pay the compension.

Aircraft is their stuff, not the law and order...

But not allowing a passenger into the plane even after security search? No. In fact, the flight crew does not have that authority.

That aircraft operates under the laws of the US and the US Constituational protections apply. The captain is not above the Consitution.

But then, it is not the duty of the airline crew to conduct security operations.

The most they can do is remain vigilant, and that's it. And if that's a responsibility, it's understandable.

Security is all dealt with within the airport, not inside the plane.

True.. Thats post facto.. At the time, a captain can decide to deplane someone if he feels that he/she is a security risk. He surely has to justify his actions in a report and to an inquiry if it is constituted..
